Abstract: In order to study the mining stress distribution regulation of the steep-inclined and extremely thick coal seam, use the FLAC3D numerical simulation software and the field measurement two methods to study the horizontal stress, vertical stress and shear stress distribution regulation of steep-inclined and extremely thick coal seam sectioned fully-mechanized top-coal caving in A dao-hai. According to the numerical simulation results, the influence scope of lead abutment pressure in working face is small while the side abutment pressure has a greater influence scope. Nearby the working face roadway show a obviously stress concentration phenomenon. The stress of the floor roadway is weaker than the roof roadway, but the floor roadway has a larger relative displacement than the floor roadway. The floor roadway’s deformation is mostly floor heave and roof subsidence while the roof roadway’s deformation is mostly global deformation. Measured data shows that mining of the upper slice has a strong influence in the lower slice in the steep-inclined and extremely thick coal seam sectioned fully-mechanized top-coal caving, the lead influence distance is 30m.
